So it looks like the believed “leaked” photos of NX controllers, unsurprisingly, were all an elaborate hoax after all. Right after on from?end user Idriss2Dev’s — who initially uploaded the images stating this as being a leak — confirming this as nothing more than clever Photoshop trickery, using?a brief (and to some degree satirical) video showing off this process, it seems even the realistic-looking “model” revealed off a couple of days in the past was also fake, created by Finnish individual, Frank Sandqvist.
The alleged prototype model was in fact constructed using Three-dimensional Printing technology in line with the original “leak” photos, consequently taking this newfound way of life of rumours, leaks and speculation to a whole new level. Describing his step-by-step process in a accompanying video, Sandqvist explains that he “thought it might be funny to see precisely how easy it would be in order to recreate” based on the previous Photoshopped photos. He does also admit that based on the expected design, the game controller is indeed somewhat unpleasant to hold. Whether or not Manufacturers themselves will end up third , design principle if they come to finally unveiling the genuine article, remains to be seen. But yes, it turned out all a ruse; no doubt some people ended up played. Check it out under.
